Tell me why Continuous Come isnt the best strategy - Craps - Gambling - Page 2 - Forums - Wizard of Vegas yes, you can load all the bases 4,5,6,8,9,10 max odds then a 7 hits and lose a bunch.
I guess I should have added "if you have the best strategy craps to do continuous come.
I would like to add this morsel.
Would you stop if profitable?
IMHO "continuous" might not be the best idea invented.
Of course degenerate gamblers need not apply ;o Quote: 100xOdds Where's my logic hole?
First you have to understand what a come bet is, it' nothing more then a pass-line bet that you can make on every roll of the dice.
Then you have to know that the dice can't do math, now everybody that wants to tell me that I'm wrong pile on!
I love the math of the game, but I realized a long time ago is only for the casinos benefit.
You're never going to be there for 10,000 rolls of the dice and you are always playing in the short term.
You also have to realize that the math of the game says that over 10,000 rolls the dice you are going to be a loser!
So with that said, in the short-term anything can and will happen.
That is why you have winners and let's not forget the losers.
Then lets get on to using little bit of the math of the game, the math will tell you that most players never get over 4 rolls of the dice and best online european casino they do they never make it pass 8 rolls of the dice.
So let's look at what actually happens when using the continuous come bet.
Lets start with the pass-line bet then start making come bets, we will be using red chips.
And take two times odds.
If you lucky you may get a point established by the second or third roll the dice.
Lets just say that it happened to be a 10, gee.
But after all you did bet the pass-line so suck it up, and start making your come bets.
The first come bet you make just happens to be a 3, you lose, next you get a 6, then how about a 8, now your cooking.
The next best strategy craps is a 5, man you fixing to make some money!
Next roll is a 4, it can't get any better then the way its going for you, next up, guess what you get an 9, hell you now have the two best box numbers you can have.
Now the money is just going to start rolling in!
Next roll is 2 you got it made, now your drooling, you can almost taste it the big win your going to have!
The very next roll is a best roulette wheel strategy, damn just when you were poised to make the big money!
Hell your going to take your wife to that designer store to buy her that pocketbook she always wanted.
The come out roll is now a seven, you just lost all of your come bets, but there is some saving grace, you won your pass-line bet.
So now your even and you have to start you come bet scenario of betting all over again!
Sure you saved all of your odds but now you need best strategy craps big roll to happen so you can get all you come bets back up there again!
Did anybody ever tell best strategy craps that the likelihood of that happening again is almost nil.
Now then lets hear it from all the math guys that are going to say that I'm wrong, while you're at it, will you please tell everybody how many days a week or month or lets go year you actually play craps, inquiring minds want know!
Note, all my post start with this is just my opinion.!
You do good brada.!
Here's a chart on 100,000 randomly generated rolls and comparing flat betting with no odds, 345x odds, and 10x odds.
The strategy can allow you to get lucky with a lifetime of play even at 345x odds.
You have almost zero chance to win flat betting the pass and come bet on every roll without odds.
This chart has the player with no odds not losing much even after about 10,000 rolls which is pretty damn freaking lucky!
It all comes out in the wash after 100,000 rolls though.
Most people who play craps don't get to multiple hundreds of thousand of rolls with bets on the table with consistent betting techniques like this chart shows.
So even the obvious downward trend in the long term is purely educational.
DOUBLE UP TO CATCH UP!

Hell, I'll post a link to mine if you'd like.

Higher odds can increase the average slopes across the entire chart but there is no consistency with random numbers.

Multiple people have made claims that these charts are not useful.
I think such obviously false statements reveal more about the individual making the comment than the chart.
Another post had source code I wrote in perl to get my answers.
Not finding something useful yourself does not mean it's not useful to another person.
best blackjack table in atlantic city I made it clear that the data was random.
In the long run odds intersect no odds on most charts given enough samples, no matter the pattern of the dance.
They go up and down randomly but over enough samples they intersect the no odds line many many times.
If you missed this insight from visual inspection I apologize for not pointing it out.
But there are characteristics of betting strategies that can be observed from charts if you put effort into visualizing what you are looking at instead best strategy craps flatly rejecting the utility of the visualization of different betting strategies on the same sequence of rolls.

If so, this post is the answer to your prayers.
Craps is a traditional gambling game played with two six-sided dice.
Players bet on the outcome of the rolls on these dice.
Craps can also be played without a casino or a house to cover the bets.
A Brief History Lesson I saw a page that purported to be about the history of craps which mentioned that dice have been around for over 2000 years.
Dice have been around in one form or another for even longer than that.
Okay, so we know that dice have been around forever, but what about the specific game of craps?
The game was played by the Crusaders to pass time between battles.
It made its way to the United States via the French, who brought it to Louisiana in the early 19 th century.
Street craps, which is the game played among players with no casino or banker, was popular among soldiers during World War II.
The Rules for Playing Craps in a Casino Craps in a casino is played at a relatively large table.
The players traditionally stand around the table, which is attended by multiple casino employees.
There they wager on check this out outcomes of the dice rolls.
Players use chips to place bets on the layout of the craps table.
This layout is made of green felt and is labeled with the various betting go here />The table itself is shaped like a huge shallow oval bowl.
A standard craps table is 13 feet long and 5 feet wide, which means it takes up 65 square feet.
It consists of 50+ stacks of chips that are each made up of 20 chips.
The other side of the table has a mirror on it.
The table has room for 8 players to stand around it.
When you buy chips or exchange lower denomination chips for higher denomination chipsthe boxman handles that transaction.
The base dealers collect and pay bets.
You have one base dealer on either side of the table.
The stickman stands on the other side of the table from the boxman.
He handles the best strategy craps from the center of the table.
The stickman also announces the results after every roll of the dice.
He also has a long wooden stick which he uses to move the dice on the table.
Craps is a fast-paced game with a lot of action and a lot of players.
Mistakes are possible, and having multiple people overseeing the game helps keep the action straight.
I should also point out that when things are slow at the table, fewer employees work the craps table.
You might even find some casinos with miniature craps tables that are run by two employees instead of four.
There are no chips, no table, and no employees overseeing the game.
The players use cash and watch each other.
The game is played in individual rounds, which often consist of multiple rolls of the dice.
When you roll the dice, you must throw them hard enough to hit the back wall.
You also must throw both dice at the same time.
Bets on the pass line immediately lose, and the player to your left gets to take over as the shooter.
Bets on the pass line immediately win, and you get to keep shooting.
In this case, multiple dice rolls continue the round.
If that total is rolled again before a 7 is rolled, pass pays off.
This is one of the only bets in the casino to pay off at its true odds, and it reduces the effective house edge considerably.
You should always take odds when you can.
But in a casino, you have a massive number of additional betting options to choose from.
This is a plastic disk on the table that the dealers use to signify whether a point has been set or not.
How do you actually play the game?
The first step is to approach the table with your cash.
You never hand it to the dealer.
This is done on purpose so that disputes about buying in are minimized.
Everything is video recorded by the eye in the sky, too.
Once you have your chips, you can start placing bets, regardless of whether the next roll is a come-out roll or a point roll.
Bets on individual totals proposition bets can be placed any time.
This sounds complicated, and it is.
But the game moves way faster than you can imagine, too.
Every possible total has a nickname at the craps table, as follows: Snake eyes This is a total of 2.
Since the dice use round pips to signify the number on each side, these resemble the eyes of a snake.
Ace deuce This is a total of 3.
Any total of 3 on two dice is going to be made up of a 1 and a 2.
This way of rolling a 4 is more likely than the hard four, which is covered next.
Fever five This is a total of 5.
Hard six This is a total of 6 consisting of a 3 and another 3.
Easy eight This is a total of 8 made up from 2 best in milano a 6 or a 3 and a 5.
Hard eight This is a total of 8 made up of a 4 and another 4.
Nina This refers to a total of 9.
Easy ten A total of 10 made up of a 4 and a 6.
Hard ten A total of 10 made up of a 5 and another 5.
Boxcars This is a total of 12.
Once you know the totals, you know a lot of the possible bets, too.
But most of these bets offer lousy odds.
I cover the house edge for each bet below as well as the payoffs and odds of winning.
These are some of the bests bets at the table with the lowest house edge.
The pass line bet pays even money.
The odds of winning learn more here pass line bet are 255 to 244.
The payoff is even money.
This makes the house edge on this bet 1.
The payoff is even best strategy craps, making the house edge on this bet 1.
Notice that the house edge is slightly lower on this bet.
But some players frown on betting this way.
Jimmy the Greek, by the way, was a notorious wrong bettor.
It basically treats this new roll as if it were a new come-out roll.
The odds, payouts, and house edge for the come bet are all the same as for the pass line bet.
A place bet is a bet that a specific number will be rolled before a 7, but you get to choose the number.
You can make place bets on the following totals: best strategy craps, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10.
The house edge is 6.
The house edge is 4%.
The house edge is 1.
If you know anything about casino games in general, you already know that no casino game bet pays off at the same odds of it winning.
The difference between the payout odds and the odds of winning is the house edge, which is usually expressed as a percentage.
A buy bet is like a place bet, but it pays off at the odds of winning.
are best casino slots pc game download think ensure a profit, the casino charges a 5% commission on such bets.
Again, the bettor gets to choose the number.
The payouts for the lay bet are reversed, paying 1 to 2 for 4 or 10, 2 to 3 for 5 or 9, and paying 5 to 6 for 6 or 8.
A put bet enables you to increase the size your pass line bet or make a new pass line bet after a point has been established.
You can also use this option to increase the size of a come bet.
As with most of these bets, this is a bet that the total indicated will come up before a 7 is rolled.
A bet on hard 4 or hard 10 has 8 to 1 odds of winning, but pays off at 7 to 1.
The house edge is 11.
A bet on hard 6 or hard 8 has 10 to 1 odds of winnings, but pays off at 9 to 1.
The house edge is 9.
Big 6 and Big 8 are sucker bets, because they pay even money if you get a 6 or 8 before a 7 is rolled.
But you could just make place bets on those totals instead, and if you do the payouts are better.
The odds of winning are 6 to 5, but the bet pays off even money.
The house edge is 9.
Proposition bets are bets on a single roll of the dice coming up with a specific number.
The house edge is 13.
The house edge is 11.
The house edge is 11.
The house edge is 13.
The house edge is 11.
Pays off at 7 to 1, but the odds of winning are 8 to 1.
The house edge is 11.
The odds of winning one of these bets is 5 to 1, but the payoff is halved and paid off according to which bet you win.
The house edge is 11.
The odds of winning are 5 to 1, but the bet pays off at 4 to 1.
The odds of winning at least one of the bets are 5 to 1, and the payoff depends on which bet is won.
The house edge is 12.
The house edge is 13.
For example, you might bet 5 and 1 on a total of 6.
The house edge is 5.
The odds of winning are 5 to 4, but the payoff odds vary based on the total.
Probability, Odds, Payoffs, and the House Edge I should explain a little bit about probability, odds, payoffs, and the house edge.
Probability is the branch of math that deals with how likely it is for a certain event to occur.
The probability of something happening is always a number between 0 and 1.
Something that will never happen has a probability of 0.
Something that will always happen has source probability of 1.
Probabilities can be expressed in multiple ways.
One common way of expressing a probability is a percentage.
You can then compare the odds of winning a bet with the odds that the bet pays off to determine how much the house expects to win per bet over a long period of time.
Therefore, players sometimes walk away winners.
The Best Craps Strategies to Use Armed with the knowledge of how to play the game and how the odds work, we can come up with what are the best craps strategies to use.
But first we must set some goals.
Over that kind of volume, that mathematical expectation grows close to the actual results.
Individual gamblers like you and me, though, are almost always interested in the short run.
And in the short run, we do have a chance to win.
The way we do that is by calculating the average cost of an hour of playing craps.
If you stick with the lowest house edge best player odds in casino at the table, you can fare well, too.
Since the house edge for that bet is 1.
Those are the lowest edge bets at the table.
Remember earlier when I talked about taking odds?
And the brilliant thing about this 2 nd bet is that it pays off at its true odds.
But in other casinos, you can bet 2X, 3X, 5X, or more.
And the more money you can put on the odds, the more likely you are to win, and the longer your money will last.
That sums up craps strategy in a nutshell.
Except for advantage play techniques like dice setting and dice control.
I cover that in the next section.
Dice Control and Dice Setting in Craps The idea behind dice control and dice setting is that if you can influence the outcome of the dice by even a best strategy craps amount, you can reduce the already-low house edge by enough that you can actually play with an edge over the casino.
But if you decide you want to try this for yourself, what do you need to do?
Then look forvideos, or books about dice setting or dice control.
These explain the techniques in terms of how to set the dice in your hands and how to conduct the actual rolls.
My suspicion is that controlling the dice in craps is harder than these system sellers might have you think.
Compare that with the fuss the casinos make over card counters in blackjack.
But besides getting the information about how to do it, the materials with which to practice, and the time to spend on it, dice control probably has as much to do with faith as anything else.
But there are some variations to discuss: The first of these is street craps.
As I mentioned earlier, street craps is a stripped-down version of the game.
Proposition bets are possible in street craps, too, but you have to be able to find a player to cover your bets.
Also, street craps is played with cash.
In this variation, the 7 is the only number that wins on the come-out roll.
Any other number becomes the point, including the 2, 3, and the 12.
In exchange for having a 0% chance of crapping out on the come-out roll, the player gives up the chance of winning with an 11.
The probabilities work out so that the casino maintains an even bigger edge over the player.
Instead of the usual 1.
Bonus Craps is a variation marketed by .
The first two bets pay off at 35 to 1, and the house edge is 7.
The third bet pays off at 176 to 1, and the house edge on it is also 7.
This kind of variation on a game, where larger payouts are made available, is common with casino table games.
Fire Bet Craps is a variation marketed by.
When a shooter gets on a hot streak which often happens in crapsthe dealer marks various totals with a fire symbol on the table.
Winning streaks are common in craps, which is one of the reasons the game is so popular.
The thing about winning streaks in gambling games, though, is that you can only spot them in hindsight.
In other words, each roll of the dice at the craps table is an independent, random event.
And your ability to get an edge is still probably 0.
The only exception to this that I can think of is if you find a table where a practicing dice control expert is playing.
The odds of that are unlikely, to say the least.
How Does the Game Work Online?
The major difference involves how the results are generated.
Most online casinos use a computer program called a random number generator to create their results.
Are Online Craps Games Rigged?
If you were reading carefully, you noticed that crapsand all other casino gameshas an unassailable mathematical house edge.
This is based on the simple fact that the bets pay off at lower odds than they have of winning.
But most people asking about rigged online casinos are interested in whether the casino can manually prevent you from winning.
The good news is that most online casinos lease their software from one of a dozen or so software providers.
Your best bet in avoiding those kinds of casinos is to look for recommendations from a trusted source.
Do Casinos Teach People How to Play Craps?
In fact, if you want to learn how to play craps, try asking anyone working in the casino if they offer classes on the various table games.
The dealers and the other players are often eager to help new players learn the game.
Playing free games online, in conjunction with the tutorial on this page, is also a great way to learn the game before stepping up to the real money table at the casino.
Which Las Vegas Casinos Offer the Best Craps Games?
The best craps games in are the ones where you can bet the most on the odds bet.
The Casino Royale stands tall in the city for offering the best limit on the odds bet at 100X.
Many of the casinos Downtown, like El Cortez and the Downtown Grand, offer 10X odds.
Conclusion Craps is one of.
I recommend trying the free games at some of the online casinos recommended on this site to get a feel for the game before playing in Las Vegas.

Now that we have source out of the way.
The purpose of this post is to introduce you to the 10 most fundamental concepts in best strategy craps strategy.
This is not a get rich quick scheme.
The truth is that craps is a negative expectation game.
But you can get more entertainment for your money if you understand some of the basics of craps strategy.
These are also the best bets on the table.
The house edge for each of those bets is, respectively, 1.
Both those bets pay even money, which make them marginally less exciting than some of the other bets.
This is exceptionally low compared to most bets at most other casino games.
That sounds awful until you compare it to other games like slot machines, which best in slot have a house edge of 7% or more, or roulette, which has a house edge of 5.
Some writers combine the 2 bets together for purposes of illustrating the total house edge on the 2 bets combined.
In fact, most of the bets offer lousy odds.
I mentioned earlier that you can measure how good a bet on a casino game is by how low the house edge is.
The odds of winning that bet, though, are 5 to 1.
The difference is the house edge.
And also assume that you have a perfect distribution for those rolls.
The house edge on the various bets in the center of the craps table range from 2.
None of them are good bets.
Skip all the sucker click here in the middle of the table.
The Martingale is a betting system used with even money bets at table games.
You double the size of your bet after each loss until you win.
The Martingale System SEEMS fool-proof.
You can continue this progression as long as your money holds out and as long as your bet stays beneath the table max.
When it does, you see a devastating loss.
And if you win that final bet?
Betting systems like the Martingale have no way of overcoming the house edge.
The any craps bet wins if the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12.
This seems like a no-brainer strategy.
How often does this happen?
You still face the house edge when the shooter tries to roll the point.
It only looks that way.
But they also often involve systems for hedging your bets.
Even then, the house edge on the any craps bet is higher than you should be willing to pay.
You multiply that by the average size of your bet to get your expected hourly loss.
In the short run, this number is meaningless.
The bigger your bet size, the more expected loss is.
I am, after all, only a poor gambling blogger.
Years ago, I read a great book called Poker Night by John Vorhaus.
He wrote about how to choose the stakes for your poker game.
You can back-calculate the stakes you want to play for by dividing that bankroll by 10 or 20.
You can find casinos in Las Vegas which allow you to take 10X or even 15X odds, but 2X is more common.
You should look for casinos which offer bigger limits best strategy craps the odds bet.
Some casinos have 3x 4X 5X odds bet maximums.
In these casinos, you can bet 3X your original bet if the point is 4 or 10, 4X your original bet if the point is 5 or 9, and 5X your original bet if the point is 6 or 8.
This is meant to simplify payouts for the craps dealers.
Those bets pay off at 2 to 1, best strategy craps to 2, and 6 to 5, respectively.
If you make the pass line bet with the maximum odds bet at a 3X 4X 5X table, the payout is always 7 to 1 on your total action.
This makes it easier for the dealer.
My suggestion for the best place to play craps in Las Vegas is the Casino Royale.
The cumulative house edge on a pass line bet taking maximum odds drops to just 0.
Those professions are outside the scope of this post, thoughsorry.
Anyone can look like they have skill by getting lucky on a dozen throws of the dice in a row.
The most important difference between street craps and casino craps is the lack of betting options.
The rules for these bets work the same as they would if you were playing in a casino.
Luckily, it also offers some of the best odds in the casinoIF you place the right bets.
Just stick with the bets which have a low house edge.
The rest of what you need to know about craps strategy can be boiled down to avoiding bad strategies.
The bad bets at the craps table are awful.
Other trap to avoid is thinking that hedging your best strategy craps or raising and lowering your bets based on previous results will do anything to help you win.
Craps is a notoriously streaky game.
This is good news and bad news.
It means you can have big winning streaks.
Sadly, it also means you can have fast losing streaks, too.
And the losing streaks are marginally more common than the winning streaks.
But you can sure have some fun and walk away a winner from the craps table once in a while.

To make a pass line bet you put your bet right in front of you on the pass line.
Pass line bets are paid even-money and the house edge on a pass line bet is 1.
