Few years past I have started writing Warrior Class Guide Compendium for Wrath of the Lich King expansion, and here you'll read the Fury part, though its a bit different than in the original document.
Like all of my guides, the emphasis lies on the word detailed.
If you're looking for a pocket guide that will tell you in short order what to take without any explanations of why, then either stop reading right now or be smart about it and look at the most important bits - bolds and colour.
Being all three spec guides in PvE and PvP alike, the complete length of the entire document is over 120 word pages long.
True teaching lies not in telling what to do, but in periodically asking questions and giving examples until the student comes to the real conclusions themselves.
If you do something without in-depth awareness it's all for naught if you truly want to become serious.
The way of doing things I will present to you is not the only way.
All feedback is welcomed and greatly appreciated!
Note: Due to wrong version save, BiS gearsets are not complete.
Fury belongs to specs that heavily rely on their gear in order to give out an efficient performance.
Being a warrior you use a lot of macros, even as Fury; and if you're walking around without a shield in your bags I'll bitch slap you like Shiva!
Additionally, you can reduce healing strain by using Shield Wall 65% damage reduction total ; Shield Block and Enraged Regeneration help too.
It's an instant lootban or worse.
Additionally, Intervene reduces target's total threat by 10% from all mobs in the battle and intervenes one physical attack done against themso keep that note somewhere in the back of your mind, it can be useful on encounters such as Sindragosa.
This behavior will be covered under its own section.
It's worth saying that it's nothing that expected of you to do, merely that your class is capable of doing.
Aside from ETing, there are a plenty mm best in slot situations when using Shield Wall to mitigate damage is welcomed.
How does it work?
Rage is generated by doing damage with auto attacksgetting damaged from any source, or by using rage-generating abilities or talents.
Warriors stop when they DIE!
You avoid doing that by thinking in advance.
Worst-case scenario s you can find yourself in is not having rage, having no rage-generating abilities available and are unable to attack.
Excluding normal melee weapon attacks — and getting damaged — there are several talents and abilities helping us with rage.
Bloodrage and Charge are your only two default rage-generating abilities.
You can increase your rage gain from physical sources for a small amount by using Berserker Rage, but that cooldown is ideally saved to prevent fears and other effects from affecting you.
That being said, special notice goes to two offensive abilities — Heroic Strike and Cleave.
They change your main hand auto attack into special attack, preventing rage generation from auto-attack source fury has offhand weapon to generate rage with.
This term is mostly for PvP, but even in PvE, a badly timed stance dance can lead to bad results e.
Warriors keep 10-25 rage per changing stances depending on Tactical Mastery talent passive Stance Mastery is learned on level 20.
Goal is to avoid finding yourself rage-starved — or rage capped.
There is an equation which determines just how much rage you are generating when you hit or are hit, but I won't be bothering you with it and simply state that the harder you hit and the harder you are hit, the more rage is generated.
If you want to know just how much you generate, go hit a target not a dummy and take note.
If you're second, then I suggest you this Improved Demoralizing Shout build.
In general, these two builds are the best come-and-go builds, however, neither spec is set in stone as you can take on different approach depending on your group need.
To begin with I will mention one and that's Improved Rend.
I tried Rending and it didn't work out for me.
NOTE: I am covering the first build with Commanding Presence.
Booming Voice is best picked to reduce the frequency of shouting read: reduce your rage loss.
Cruelty needs no explanations.
If your raid group picks two Fury Warriors, the second warrior should talent into Improved Demoralizing Shout.
Reason is very simple: it is almost like giving tanks 60 more stamina against physical damage.
More on it later.
More info on it later.
Although do remember that auto attacks while dual wielding require 27% total hit rating not to ever miss, so this is still a very good talent even if you find yourself hit capped for special attacks.
Improved Intercept is not needed in PvE, but it can be useful.
Rage from Zerk rage is only useful while doing dungeons, taking other talents for raiding is a better call.
Death Wish must remain on 2min CD!
If there is no one with healing reduction available, taking Furious Attacks could solve the problem.
Unending Fury talent increases the damage of most of your dps abilities by 10%, so keep it full.
All following points go to Arms tree.
Three rage per every attack combined with the glyph means a lot.
If you plan on using Rend, then by all means, talent it instead with two points off Deflection.
Deep Wounds proc off any critical attack you land with melee weapons including Heroic and Shattering Throw.
Deep Wounds is part of the reason why fury warriors mm best in slot crit loving beings, with crit damage increase as every other dps class gets it.
Two-Handed Weapon Specialization reduces the penalty of having two two-handers to -4% as mentioned, down from -10%.
All other talents are not increasing your dps.
Possible alterations to the tree: To recap: Both mm best in slot builds are "best" for raiding in general, pug or guild.
You are advised to roll around with Commanding Presence +600 HP on everyone is no joke; it's two stamina gems!
And for the third and last time, if you plan on using Rend, talent it.
Best replacement choice is Heroic Fury; or if your 10man has no hunter or shaman for AoE slow, Piercing Howl is great.
However, again, be mindful how hit is still a nice deal of overall dps even with hit cap.
Therefore, if the raid needs Healing Reduction and you don't want to go Arms, you know what to do btw.
If the raid doesn't have but needs AoE slow at mdps area, you know what to do.
I do not advise on abandoning Booming Voice and Commanding Presence for Unbridled Wrath and be left with two extra talent points like with Demo shout build.
So is it worth it?
However, most realms have it bugged and proc's off environmental damage, making it a supreme choice.
If so, you mm best in slot know that that is bugged and should not work.
In any case, here is the selfish build.
Works wonders if Enrage is bugged, is total crap for the group otherwise.
Glyph of Whirlwind to reduce CD, Glyph of Heroic Strike to minimize rage lost and Glyph of Cleaving to hit one more target.
You want minors to increase your shout duration and make Bloodrage safe to use.
There are two more glyphs to consider when your single target damage comes to mind.
Those are Glyph of Execute increases Execute damage as if you had 10 additional rage and Glyph of Rending increases Rend duration by 6sec to 21 sec total, it gets two more ticks.
Execute is least useful for overall damage done, but it is increasing the damage you do in execution phase some tiny bit.
Rend would be better than it for overall damage done, but neither is really necessary.
Cleave is just all-around more valuable.
Think of it in this way: the hardest encounters in any raid, how many enemies are you attacking?
Damage the whole squad of adds at Lady Deathwhisper.
Attack two Blood Beasts on Deathbringer Saurfang.
Attack the Lich King and two nearby Valks.
After first WW, you can click at this page two BT.
Dump any excess rage with Heroic Strike for single target or Cleave if attacking multiple enemies.
Never allow your Sunder Armor to expire, that's the most messed up thing you can allow to happen!
When should I use Death Wish?
So in simple words - you either save it to dps something important mid battle or you aim to use it as often as possible.
The encounters however, complicate it.
Start with considering their length.
You want to use Death Wish as often as possible, but not in vain!
The last thing to take into consideration is Hysteria buff from Blood Death Knights, a buff that is same as Continue reading Wish 20% damage increase for 30sec and thus does not stack.
If you find yourself being either top physical dps or be the only one present, you will be given Hysteria, but since it doesn't stack with Death Wish, you will need to communicate usage generally DKs will cast it on you on pull so you can use your Death Wish when it is most convenient.
Did this text confuse you?
If you ever feel insecure about the timing, ask your raid leader "When do you want me to pop CDs?
When should I use Shattering Throw?
Multiple warriors should chain its use.
Use macro and follow it with Bloodrage.
How do Heroic Strike and Cleave work?
I talked about this at the very start of the guide!
You generate rage by dealing auto attack damage and getting damaged.
In addition of it dealing more damage, special attacks benefit from Impale.
If there are multiple enemies around me and the boss, should I use Cleave or Heroic Strike?
Always think in terms of effective damage.
What will make the most difference?
As a prime example I will use Lich King heroic encounter.
If you use Cleave in P1, you will top the damage meter, congratulations - but your boss damage is lower and you might get third Shambling Horror up which you DON'T want!
That's online casinos best bonuses for the example really since you want to Cleave everything else in that encounter.
In Ulduar, Cleaving at Iron Council is pointless as when one dies the others get back to 100% HP; and Cleave is mega powerful at Mimiron in P4 when you can damage all three body parts.
Always look to maximize your damage output, just don't be stupid about it - if you notice that your group is missing that tiny bit of damage on to "push it", just stop Cleaving and use that Heroic Strike.
Do I prioritize Execute or Heroic Strike?
That is a really good question!
The main issue at hand is that Execute has HORRIBLE scaling with your attack power, and only scales good with ArP — where your auto attacks and Heroic Strikes are affected by both.
If you want to use Execute and keep your main hand free for rage generation, you should consult with combat data off raid encounters and do the math NEVER use dummy for this!
When is it ideal to use Recklessness?
When Death Wish is already activated and all procs are up Death Wish and trinkets.
You hear and see folks talking about using it before this or that ability, but the truth is, since it's on GCD, you ideally time it just so you don't ruin your rotation.
Have Death Wish up and and trinket proc up and use it, regardless of which ability comes next.
Ruining your rotation timing to use it before your wanted ability is a dps loss rather than gain.
How to properly manage Sunder Armor?
First off: you are not using it if there's a protection warrior in the raid and attacking your target.
That being said, you manage it best by casting five sunders right off the bat, before doing any dps ability.
If there are multiple warriors, all should contribute to stacking it up.
In case of a bigger gear gap, the weaker warrior will be keeping it up, otherwise make a deal.
You should be doing it even in ICC heroic, some physical dps do not have ArP caps DK, Ret, Assass, Enhance and fights are long.
In addition, tanks will do more threat and everyone loves that!
How do I use my consumables best?
Use a scroll if your 10man setup is not ideal.
If you have only Indestructible Potion, use it just before the pull.
If you also have Insane Strength Potions at hand, then you can open with more potent burst but less overall damage donebut it requires raiding-guild level coordination.
The idea is to use Indestructible Potion ~61sec before the pull, so you can use Insane Strength Potion just before the pull happens, pop Death Wish and hack and slash away.
After 2min you can use your 2nd Indestructible Potion as if nothing happened - but note how Indestructible Potion lasts for 3min now instead of 4.
This "trick" is only for the burst opening.
How and when do I use Rend?
I saved question for last because of its.
There are five important things that must be true to make its usage viable.
It means that swapping stance will make you lose any rage above 25.
Performing Rend costs you 10 rage, leaving you with 15 as you swap back to Berserker Stance.
Otherwise you ruin your damage output by ruining cooldown timers.
Congratulations on reducing your damage output.
All rage above 25 will be lost.
Once you apply Rend, you will have 15 Rage as you swap back to Berserker Stance mm best in slot wait for that auto attack to land.
Because if you strike with either weapon while in Battle Stance, you will only retain 25 rage once you swap back congratulations on reducing your damage output!
Having Glyph of Rend helps.
It will never out-damage your critical strikes, but the gap itself rises the higher your ArP rating is.
Because +30% damage on Bleed effects is a must for the most effective use, and only then is the dps increase noticeable… if all four points above were true.
So, is it worth it?
But that's exactly the problem - the dps increase is low — and you have to be on lookout for your rage and swing timer in addition to other "empty moment" factors.
It's driving a small bit of your focus away from the raid.
The more Armor Penetration you have, the less effective it becomes to use Rend; to the point that Rend will either just barely out-damage non-critical white melee swing if at all!
When doing any calculations, take into consideration that in Battle Stance your strength is not increased by 20%.
To summarize it: Yes, it is effective to use it during those few empty moments when you have nothing smarter to do, but the slightest mistake you do will ruin your damage output rather than increase it; and even when it is done perfectly, the damage increase is nothing big three white melee hits per minute.
Using Rend is not mandatory, simply welcomed if the opening is given.
Furthermore, all the most difficult of encounters welcome Glyph of Cleaving more than Glyph of Rend.
If you really wish to experiment with it, build your 2nd spec to Improved Rend, get the glyph and find a Feral Druid to take as a pet with you into raids and have fun!
Which buffs, debuffs and auras are increasing my dps?
In ideal 25man raiding environment, you have all these at your disposal.
If there is no protection warrior in the raid, use Sunder Armor as I have described.
Depending on your talents, you are there in the raid group to provide the best Commanding Shout for HP or Demoralizing Shout for damage reduction Ret paladins take care of Attack Power bonus.
Elemental Shamans can interrupt perfectly; and Mages are the last choice to interrupt since their interrupt is on 24sec cooldown, plus they have to stop their spell casting to do check this out />Therefore, if you need to interrupt during the encounter, do not go below 10 rage!
You think this text is stupid?
Go to ToGC10 without anyone mm best in slot dispel Jarraxus' buff.
Count seconds before first raider dies.
Mentioning dying, a reminder: Don't Whirlwind or Cleave your mind controlled players.
Don't go full derp mode.
Why not save the raid from wiping?
Dead dps does zero dps.
Tanks sometimes need to swap targets often and maybe even keep AoE threat — you as fury warrior do not have any building up, you jump into the fray and spam cleave and whirlwind until your muscles go all sore.
Get Omen3 threat meter addon!
TidyPlates can help with threat visibility as well.
Also, if you dps from the front, you're making tank take more damage if boss parries your attack.
A game mechanic called Parry.
When you parry an attack, your current swing timer is hastened, making you strike faster.
So when boss parries your attack, or other melee dps attacks including your own.
Tanks start taking VERY high damage.
Some bosses don't have this mechanic, use google to find out more, but here's a known exception: Professor Putricide doesn't have it, so you're welcomed to dps from the front if there's no room left to maneuver.
Secondly, develop your raid awareness.
Do not just hump down boss and the adds, observe what is happening.
Fights have mechanics, and dps is often on the lookout to react in time.
Flame is on the floor?
Move out of it or in for more rage?
There is link between players?
You got debuff that makes you spread fire where you stand?
Run the hell away from the raid!
You got debuff which will explode for AoE damage soon enough?
Get away from the raid!
Your character is looking at something which is making you take damage?
Thirdlybut no less important, know your positioning.
In other words, know the tactics.
Plus, a big amount of bosses have frontal cleave or cone attacks, you want to be away from their front there are few exceptions; Freya in Ulduar is the best example, you should be in front of her.
And then there are drakes and dragons.
Drakes only have breath attack and can't use their tail.
ET — Emergency Tanking Sometimes things just go wrong.
Fury is able to assist with some tanking healing?
Emergency tanking is when you as a non-tank take over the tanking role for a brief period of time.
Most usual reason is the tank dying.
It also counts in as soaking a single or few attacks, or debuffs.
Other reasons include having noobs in the raid or mistakes happening with add handling.
You are using mostly plate armor and you have a shield, totaling around 50-60% physical damage reduction.
You have Defensive Stances' -10% damage taken, Shield Wall for -60% damage taken 65% total, after your high armor value from plate and you have Shield Block to mitigate some damage further.
Damage is further mitigated via various healing effects.
How do I do it?
You have to react fast.
The moment the tank dies — as boss is turning to the next person on the threat meter to bitchslap them like Shiva — do you double-tap given ET macro.
You will go to Defensive Stance, use Shield Block, Shield Wall and use taunt ability of choice, all in one swift instant.
Hold threat until tank gets revived, buffed up and healed up ~three seconds max after being revived.
You also do this if your tank is a druid and his combat ress is critical.
Additionally, you can do the above when tanks run out of defensive cooldowns.
This requires coordination from raid as you will need heavy heals instantly.
This is not possible on all hardmode or heroic encounters as bosses may hit too hard and some bosses or adds may be immune to taunt.
You can additionally soak one attack for the tank, or anyone with agrro by using Intervene while being protected by Shield Wall, ofc.
However, Intervene buff lasts for 10 sec.
In a similar fashion, you can take any loose adds and get them to the appropriate tank e.
Intercept and an Intervene to maneuver around the encounter, two direct taunts and one AoE taunt.
And lastly, you can take one debuff stack or more.
Sometimes Intervene will be enough.
It's better if you have some tanking experience!
No one has any right to be angry at you - you're there to dps.
If you ever played tank you would know that that tiny ~140-300 less damage taken could mean a lot, so don't laugh at it.
Save your Bloodrage for when you swap back to Berserker stance.
You can also use it just as the tank is pulling or when you're just about to engage a newly arrived add.
Sometimes it will up to you to do it.
Always use when ET-ing.
This counts as having an additional HoT on you.
Always use continue reading when ET-ing, but activate it last — and you might be forced to use Bloodrage or Berserker Rage to activate the heal best Berserker, you want Bloodrage for swapping back!
Combined with ETing, you can save a tank, or any other raid member, from death.
Avoid doing this while dpsing, it results in mean dps loss — raiders need to take care of their threat, yourself included.
Also stuns the enemy, use that mechanic if you must.
Note, this is one of the shorter stuns in the game — if the longest stuns are what the raid seeks, try not to intercept at all not to invoke diminishing returns but rather intervene to the location instead.
Use it on time to prevent bad stuff from happening.
However, save it if you know you have to stance-dance at some point for whatever reason e.
It's rare that an adds wants to be slowed, but if it needs to, you can contribute.
Warrior is one of those classes that use an extensive amount of macros, regardless of spec.
Macros listed in this guide are those which I am personally using, adapted to my keybind and ability layout, therefore they are here mostly as examples.
Consider them and make your own versions that are more suitable to your playing and keybinding style.
There are also some personal macros afterwards.
If you run out of space to make new macros, get BindPad addon, or others if you know of them and prefer them instead.
Note: Some macros are designed to work with Protection and Arms specs, so they might look weird - it's so to avoid having multiple macros.
General Warrior Macros Macros that every self-respecting warrior needs, regardless of spec.
Lower three lines are for swapping into your main spec in this case, Fury and puts you into appropriate stance and equips set itemset in question.
You will have to bind equipset macro to a different key or place it under a modifier.
Personally I have swap on alt numpad 3 and equipset on ctrl numpad 3.
Fury Warrior Macros PvE These macros are exclusively for PvE variation of Fury.
Out of combat it will perform Charge, in combat swap you to Berserker Stance.
If you have Piercing Howl or Heroic Fury, place it instead of nomod Commanding?
The rest of the shouts are added in order to conserve action bar space.
You mash one button, allowing smoother gameplay, but be wary; you cannot spam HS or Cleave all the time!
And by the Light, DON'T KILL RAIDERS UNDER MIND CONTROL!!!
When MC happens, drop the macro and lay off that Whirlwind!
Sticky targeting is there, but no keybind to drop target?
Geez there is ESC for that, but it can conflict with other actions.
If you have any strudels in your bags, it will eat them first.
It will attempt to consume strudels first.
If there are no strudels, it will attempt to use normal drink.
The game automatically swaps PvP panel tabs after you finish a battleground.
Queue again infinitely with a single keybind, pronto!
This macro is designed to show and use the trinket that is currently equipped in slot 13.
My shift modifier with this is auto-run, ctrl is to bring out tundra mammoth to make use of its vendors, and mod alt is to use cloak for odds blackjack betting best my character has game casino best video for slow fall with parachute.
In PvP, HoP can protect you from physical harm and will also dispel Blind.
You sometimes want to stop Spell Reflection on Polymorph.
You want to cancel Retaliation when striking back at the enemy would mean trouble Mark of Blood, Shield Block, certain rogues that can exploit it with Setup talent, etc.
PvE Targeting Macros These macros help me target things in PvE to quickly interrupt, taunt, etc.
Not to get into too many details, I can recommend you on getting these addons to enhance your gameplay.
In this "adapted" guide I won't write anything about UI as of yet.
Optional addon, replaces floating combat text — recommended to clear the middle of your screen.
Note, hide it during the fight.
There are more addons I could recommend, but these are the basic core of enhancing your UI.
Also, if that bug is present, it makes Night Elves the supreme dps choice.
Pots will reset every 2min.
The general go-to is Draenei for the hit bonus.
But if you already have a Draenei in your party, Dwarves come first; what for the small AP gain, mace expertise is powerful.
Or maybe Human it is for sword expertise?
BiS weapons for T7 are Axes, T8 it are swords, T9 axes again and T10 has mace before LK25hc, when its sword again, and total BiS is Shadowmourne, an axe.
Gnomes or Night Elves don't get you much; Gnomes are sexy at Hodir and Sindragosa if you get unlucky and that's about it; and as a Night Elf you run fastest in back after a wipe, or Shadowmeld not to wipe if you're last man standing - or to drop threat when you over-agrro Shadowmeld should not reset raid encounter battle.
If you're Horde, your best race without question is Orc.
More Attack Power to use with Death Wish, good weapon specialization.
Trolls come second you don't care that much for haste, it's still very good though!
As a Tauren you can stun some "small" adds and as an Undead you get anti-fear CD.
Neither increase your damage output.
Tailoring follows after with powerful Swordguard Embrodiery extra berserking enchant, and this time without 5% armor reduction, so full pure 400 AP.
Alchemy enhances the AP gained from the flask and increases its duration.
Raw strength or armor penetration gain is better.
Because agility stat adds LOTS of critical strike bonus that compensates for the AP lost, and some plate items might not have Armor Penetration stat and have Haste instead.
Warrior is all about having strong attacks.
All talents focus on enhancing your attacks and abilities, topping off with Impale and Deep Wounds.
Haste only increases your attack speed and gcd - haste has no procs to affect, no special click />Therefore, it's Strength attack power and Armor Penetration that you look for.
Because you're dual wielding, your auto-attacks need total 27% not to ever miss, but going for that is overkill and unnecessary.
You need 200 expertise rating 26 6.
Strength is more valued than raw attack power.
One point of strength gives 2AP and 0.
Armor Penetration rating cap is 1400 100%.
Every point after 1400 is a wasted stat.
Fury Warrior Enchants: If you have special profession enchants that increase dps, use them instead.
Double proc is -10%.
Fury Warrior Gemming: Below are epic gems; if you're playing prior 3.
When should I start gemming for Armor Penetration over Strength?
Once you can softcap it from gear usage alone T9 and T10 only; T8 accepts softcap only with BiS.
Once you get decked in 277 items and reach the 1400 cap, gem for Strength again.
How exactly is strength better than raw attack power?
The difference is quite distinct, don't you think?
The positive thing about your leather armor replacements is that you compensate the AP lost with a greater increase in critical strike besides gaining ArP over haste.
How does Armor Penetration work?
Secondly, ArP kicks in second — you are reducing the armor that other effects such as Sunder Armor have already negated.
And even when bosses have Sunder Armor and Faerie Fire and you 100% ArP, you would not be decreasing ALL armor.
Blizzard did it weirdly.
But the more you have it, the better you're off.
And lastly, you cannot reduce the armor into negative, therefore any rating after 1400 is a wasted stat which is the reason why in T10 BiS you return to gemming strength again.
I'll edit this as soon as I can!
RAWR was not used to build these item sets, nor was it checked.
There are both 25man and 10man item builds.
NOTE: Never forget raid debuffs and other active raid effects!
Keep that in mind!
Character Model : Bladesong Base Strength: 217 Base Agility: 118 Base Attack Power: 660 Base Critical: 13.
How do I know if I should take plate, mail or leather item?
By doing your homework and realizing what would be the best gearing itemization for you.
Thankfully for you, I have done my homework and I have posted all the lists just below.
I'll have to re-do this at another time!
Total stats calculation presented comes from having all first listed items, and in this case that includes dual wielding Colossal Skull-Clad Cleaver.
I personally enjoy dual-wielding Sword of Justice.
Any combination will work for pre-raid.
Naturally, consider your racial expertise traits.
Doesn't matter, but swords or maces.
I'll have to re-do this at another time!
Notes: Tier 7 4 set bonus is not worth obtaining.
Aim for different hand, wrist or ring item s.
I'll have to re-do this at another time!
Notes: Tier 8 4 set bonus is worth obtaining.
You can softcap ArP, so go for it!
Darkmoon Card: Greatness STR is still the best trinket you can have.
Edited October 20, 2019 by Vaxsysl Word polishing.
Looks great, just a quick note: Heroic throw stops auto attack for 3s so when you have free gcd, you should only use it at start of mh melee Attack, max at mid of refresh of melee Attack when you have enough rage.
Edited June 11, 2018 by Vertazwar Didnt have time to check your whole guide, just what I saw.
Looks great, just a quick note: Heroic throw stops auto attack for 3s It indeed does.
Thank you, it didn't on my previous server s.
I edited the post.
T8 BiS list is slightly off i've done calculations in Rawr and Grim Toll is 47 more dps than DMC Greatness and i wouldnt get that neck either as i think Pendulum is better my bis list is Head: T8.
And it is not worth gemming for ArP as fury yet.
In the spreadsheet it's close but not quite there, at the end of the day it might be worth it for burst windows, however.
The one linked in the OP is giving giving me 7225,2201 dps My own list is giving me 7426,8861.
Both lists got the same buffs applied and heroic strike buff turned off, as it doesn't work on this server.
I attached a picture of the setup and the stat weights.
Edited June 16, 2018 by Kiszh I expected that they're not optimal.
This is my old guide, from 2012 and back when I was not raiding Ulduar.
I stated so in both the start and again under the section.
I'll find time eventually.

I'll work on it as soon as I get the time on my hands!
The visit web page gems are unique equipped, you can only have one of each.
Thats why I only have one 20 str and one 20 hit.
I tried the Solar Bindings setup in the beginning, and while it does give more DPS, it leaves you one expertise rating undercapped, which means you are left with 0.
The spreadsheets don't actually account for this correctly, as points of expertise just get a flat value, but the value doesn't actually have any effect untill you reach the next breakpoint.
learn more here could gem 8 exp 8 hit to cover for the 1 exp wasting 7which in turns just drops you below using the bedlam.
The best setup I've found so far is simply gemming my expertise and using the Bedlam bracers.
Atleast that seems to be the best option outside of not being expertise capped.
There is no 2x blue req with the correct meta 21 agi 3% crit damage.

I tried the Solar Bindings setup in the beginning, and while it does give more DPS, it leaves you one expertise rating undercapped, which means you are left with 0.
The spreadsheets don't best offline poker games for iphone account for this correctly, as points of expertise just get a flat value, but the value doesn't actually have any effect untill you reach the next breakpoint.
You could gem 8 exp 8 hit to cover for the 1 exp wasting 7which in turns just drops you below using the bedlam.
The best setup I've found so far is simply gemming my expertise and using the Bedlam bracers.
Atleast that seems to be the best option outside of not being expertise capped.
There is no 2x blue req with the correct meta 21 agi 3% crit damage.
You're right, that is definitely an oversight by me.
The 21 mm best in slot and 21 crit ones are right next to eachother, I must've picked the wrong one.
With changing the meta to the correct one you drop 6 dps, but you obviously get out of having to use another blue socket, which is a net gain.

Thanks to a wide range of utility abilities, high movement speed, loyal animal companion, and the ability to deal decent Damage while not fully geared, He performs very well in the initial End-Game Dungeons and Raids of Classic.
Moreover, last Talent from the Marksmanship Tree, the Trueshot Aura, allows Hunter to provide a good DPS boost to all physical damage dealers present in his group it also makes it beneficial to spread Hunters evenly between melee DPS Raid groups.
One of the main advantages that Hunter has over other Classes is his ability to deal solid damage from a very long range.
This ability, combined with good mobility, decent armor, versatile toolkit, and above-average Health pool makes the Class easy-to-play, but also deceptively hard-to-master.
These traits also make the Hunter an ideal Class for encounter-specific tasks, like kiting and picking off adds from a distance.
Sadly, Hunter is not without click here quite severe problems.
He does not scale with gear as well as other Physical Damage dealers do - Hunter gets outpaced by Rogues and Warriors in lather Phases of the game when it comes to DPS.
On top of that, one of Hunter's main advantages - his loyal Pet, also proves to be one of his main limiting continue reading />A large portion of His DPS comes directly from it, which means that is the Pet dies, Hunter's Damage output visibly decreases.
This forces Hunter players to micromanage their Pets to keep them alive, which can be problematic as Pets suffer full Damage from enemy's AoE attacks.
Lastly, Hunter is an Agility-based Class, which means that he shares many BiS sorry, best casino in hawaii hope pieces with Rogues and Warriors.
This makes gearing up rather difficult Rogues, Warriors, and other Hunters can make up over a half of a 40-man Raid.
Luckily, Hunter's utility stays strong throughout all WoW Classic Phases, so there is always a place for mm best in slot Hunters in every Raid.
Pros Cons Leveling up as a Hunter is a formality Completes for Gear with Rogues and Warriors Mm best in slot Damage output in early Raids Scales with gear worse than other competing Classes, which means that his DPS falls of in later Raids, compared to other Damage dealers Pet Pet requires micromanagement Great Utility Lack of self-healing Solid Crowd Control Hunter-specific mechanics, like Pet feeding and ammunition, limit inventory space and force additional expenses Easy-to-learn Hard-to-master Good Mobility The Dead Zone not as big of an issue in PvE, luckily The Best Race Choice Note: Here, we will point you only towards the best PvE DPS Hunter Race.
If you'd like to know more about other race picks, please check ourwhere we dive deep into all available Hunter's race choices for both factions.
Alliance The Dwarf is a clear winner on the Alliance side.
His Stoneform is quite powerful in PvE setting as it increases survivability and allows you to quickly remove any annoying or mm best in slot Disease, Poison, and Bleed effects applied to you.
However, Gun Specialization, while quite good on paper, does not make much of a difference because you will be using Bows, most of the time, anyway and Ranged Attack mechanics make all ranged weapon specializations much less impactful than their melee counterparts.
Horde For a pure PvE character, Troll is the clear winner on Horde's side.
Unlike Dwarf's Gun Specialization, Troll's Bow Specialization actually makes some impact mainly, it increases your Best in casino barcelona Chance with Bows by a little bit.
On top of that, Berserking is the only Offensive Racial Cooldown available for the Horde that impacts Hunter's DPS Blood Fury increases Melee Attack Power only.
It is worth noting that you can't go wrong with an Orc either; you will lose some DPS Pet Damage bonus is nice, but pets tend to die on youbut Orc's Stun Resist racial is overpowered in any setting.
The Best Professions Choice There is only one profession that makes a real impact in Raids and it is Engineering Alchemy is also a decent option, but you can buy Flasks, Elixirs, and Potions from other players, which makes it much less impactful.
It gives you access to powerful explosives that are best casino games for machines free was your AoE and Single-Target DPS.
On top of that, it lets you create and use a wide range of powerful, yet a bit unreliable and dangerous gadgets that can be useful in very many situations.
Moreover, Scopes and Ammunition crafted via Engineering are your bread and butter Engineering lets you craft bullets only, but that is not a problem as you can trade in Thorium Shells and receive Thorium Headed Arrows in exchange.
The fact that Engineering is also considered the best PvP profession is an added benefit to its power in the PvE environment.
At the start, you should pick Mining to supplement your Engineering Skill, you can always switch it to another profession of your liking later on keeping Mining will allow you to save a lot of money, however.
Note: If you want to know more about all available professions and secondary skills, please check our detailed.
At level 60, with a Weapon Skill of 300, you have a 5% chance to miss with a special attack against a Target of equal level.
Against level 63 Boss, who has 315 Defense skill, you need 9% Hit Rating to never miss a special attack.
This means that getting 9% Hit Rating is paramount for a Raiding Hunter and should be your first goal when gearing up.
Crit is a powerful stat for any Hunter and should be prioritized after you get the Hit Cap.
This is Hunter's main primary statistic.
It also scales well with buffs, which means that you get more value from your Agility in a Raid setting.
All Hunter's attacks and offensive abilities scale with Attack Power, but this statistic should not be prioritized theme best poker chips quality opinion Agility as 1 point of Agility is worth from ~2,5 to ~3 points of AP depending on your current buffs.
This statistic does not affect your DPS directly but allows you to survive incoming Damage for longer and dead Hunter deals 0 Damage.
Hunter's DPS abilities, used in his standard rotation, do not count as "Spells", so all this statistic provides is increased mana pool.
This statistic should not be prioritized, but it shouldn't be overlooked either; some Intellect is needed to ensure that you don't run out of mana during a fight.
The Best Talent Builds Proper Talent allocation is essential for maximizing Damage output.
Here, we will describe the most optimal Hunter PvE DPS specs and lead you through the Talent Trees level-by-level to explain some choices.
Instead of going up the Beastmastery tree after getting MM's Trueshot Aura, this build opts to go for the Surefooted Talent, from the Survival Tree, that provides an additional 3% Hit Chance, which makes achieving hit cap much easier.
On top of that, the build is a bit more forgiving you are more likely to survive mistakes if you use this Build over the second option as it provides you with some extra Health and a decent defensive tool in the form of Deterrence.
If you want to make the most out of this Talent setup, you have to keep your pet alive and make sure that its uptime the time when it attacks the boss is as high a possible.
You should use this build if you have 9% Hit Chance from Items and know how to optimally micromanage your pet.
Note: If you have 9% Hit Chance from items, you should put 5 Talent points here at the expense of Surefooted.
One of your main sources of Mm best in slot />This minimizes your downtime by allowing you to attack from further away and makes you better at kiting again, you can aggro mobs from further away.
Great in situations when you accidentally pull aggro on an add; also useful for kiting.
Note: its Attack Power and not Ranged Attack Power, which means that it affects DPS of Rogues and Warriors as well.
This ability increases Hunter's viability in Raids and secures him a spot in melee groups.
A bit less useful than Monster Slaying, but quite good nonetheless.
Treat these two points liberally; you can assign them to Entrapment or Improved Wing Clip instead - all three of these Talents have a minor impact and are heavily RNG-dependent, but you have to spend 2 points somewhere to unlock the third tier of Survival Talents.
Melee Hunter FTW actually, this can be useful if you are forced into melee.
It makes you more likely to survive mistakes and Raid mechanics that force you to take a hit.
This can save your life, so it is nice to have if you don't like it, you can take 2% extra health from Survivalist instead.
Great Talent if you are still Gearing up or your Hit Chance is lacking.
After achieving 9% Hit Chance from Items, you should mm best in slot these read article points into Improved Aspect of the Hawk.
Your overall DPS depends on your pet, so this Talent is very solid it makes your pet much less likely to die and dead pets deal no damage.
If you have problems with keeping your pet alive, you can move 2 points from this into Improved Revive Pet; doing this will save you some time, mana and being shouted at for slacking by Raid leader after an encounter in which your pet has died.
This Talent provides a 20% increase in your Pet's Damage.
This gives your pet 15% additional Critical Strike Chance.
Short Pet Compendium Battle effectivenes of different Hunter Pet types may vary greatly.
Some of them are excellent Tanks that deal low damage but can withstand severe punishment, while others are rather fragile, but excel at shredding Hunter's enemies with their fangs and claws or can do a little bit of everything.
For Eng-Game group PvE content, you want one of the two latter types.
If you tame a level 1 Boar at level 60, you will end up with a level 1 Boar.
Always have some of your pet's favorite food with you!
Pet Training points are gained by a pet based on its level and its loyalty note that pets are capable of learning just a few pre-designed skills, based on their pet type.
The Best End-Game Hunter Pet types Wolf Wolf's Furious Howl ability grants 45-57 extra Damage on the next strike to all party members within 15 yards on a 10-second Cooldown makes this pet type the best for Raiding.
This is because a Wolf can stay on Passive mode in a relatively safe place and still affect the Raid's damage output.
Note: Wolves in Lower Blackrock Spire have the highest Rank of Furious Howl available early in Classic's content.
You should try to tame one of them.
Boar Boars have a high health pool which allows them to withstand damage and a charge ability that allows them to engage in combat quicker than other pet types, but their overall impact is lower than that of Wolves.
Note: Boars are great in PvP, however.
Cat Cats have very high offensive capabilities - they deal good damage and have high attack speed.
On top of that, they have an interrupt ability, which mm best in slot that they improve Hunter's utility.
Sadly, they don't have any ability that would impact their performance while they stay passive, so they are suited mainly for Leveling and PvP.
Note: Broken Tooth, a rare Badlands Cat spawn has the fastest attack speed in the game, which makes him great against Caster enemies.
He is Level 37 however, so leveling him up might be problematic if you don't tame him at an appropriate level.
Wind Serpent Similarily to Wolves, Wind Serpents can affect Raid's damage output from a distance.
Unlike Wolves, Serpents do not buff your allies, they breathe Lightning Bolts instead!
Lightning Breath ability ignores armor, which makes it great against Bosses.
Note: Son of Hakkar is the only Wind Serpent that has access to Rank 6 of the Lightning Breath.
He resides in Zul'Gurub, however, which means that he is not available in Phase 1.
Also, remember that it is the ranged armament that gives you the highest DPS boost, so you should start by getting the best Hunter bow available.
Below, we present you the BiS Best-in-slot list for all equipment slots.
While getting enchants is a one-time-deal, farming consumables might be a real chore, but it is still worth it as numbers clearly show.

This is applied to a Weapon.
Note: You can also use much cheaper Lesser Mana Oil Rotations In Classic, Hunter's rotation revolves around maximizing Auto Shot usage.
In most situations, you will want to use your Abilities between your Auto Shots, without clipping into them; if your Auto Shot is off cooldown, you should use your Ability AFTER a shot is fired.
Note: The exception from the Mm best in slot Shot rule, in some situations, is the Aimed Shot - it is actually better for you DPS if you use Aimed Shot immediately after it comes off cooldown if you have a fast Ranged Weapon Equipped Faster than 3.
Spending some additional Gold or a few extra hours grinding might secure you a spot in a Raid, as Raid leaders prefer dedicated and well-prepared players.
This will require you to stand near the melee range so that you can quickly close the distance, Cast Raptor Strike and disengage from melee remember that minimal Ranged Attack distance is 8 yards.
This way, spamming your Auto Shot Hotkey will not cancel it.
It will show you when your Auto Shot will trigger and enable you to maximize your DPS by timing your abilities correctly.

Page is reserved, but still under construction.
Please be patient with me as I try to complete the guide asap.
Some gear needs to be split into DPS and Survival.
Obviously many possible items were not included as they are clearly the last resort.
Also note that the order in which these items appear is important; the top items are the "best" in terms of being less time consuming or cheaper to acquire, not the best in absolute numbers.
To make the choice somewhat easier, I have included the drop percentages for certain items as provided by.
Note: Added in patch 3.
This is accomplished by autorunning forward and flicking your mouse so that you turn and face behind you in order to shoot an enemy on the run.
Some people like to do a full 360, I just go 45 degrees to the side and shoot backwards, then resume my forward motion.
A little bit of practice and you should get this down.
You also need to make sure that you know how to strafe.
By default, the Q and E keys are strafe left and right respectively.
Strafing allows you to move away from enemies while still facing to the side so you can shoot behind yourself at them, mm best in slot opposed to backing straight up which moves your character very slowly.
Every second counts when kiting in PvP, so practice strafing around to avoid go here />If you're really having trouble go play some counterstrike or something.
Onto more advanced hunter tactics: 1.
The frost trap circle kite With entrapment, the hunter frost trap is the most powerful group PvP snare in the game.
In group fights 5v5 arena your team will want to center the action around your trap.
Oftentimes melee enemies will try to catch up to you around the fringes of the trap.
You need to strafe in a circle around the frost trap AOE, mm best in slot an angle where enemies cannot QUITE catch you, since they remain in the AOE to get repeatedly entrapped.
This can take some practice, but will frustrate the hell out of your opponents.
This way, you can get your ~30+% shot at a big raptor strike while applying a snare on your enemy.
After throwing your "joust" yeah this is nerdy but this is actually what its called you run back to range and resume your shots which are now back off cooldown.
This technique is especially effective against other hunters, many of whom don't know how to properly fight a hunter vs hunter battle.
Effective Freeze Trapping Freezing traps can be tricky to mm best in slot well, and the 30 second trap cooldown ensures that if you make a mistake, you will pay for it.
When an enemy meleer is on you and you need to drop a freezing mm best in slot a frost might not be enough, make sure that you step forward a LITTLE bit beyond in front of the trap icon on the ground.
This will make it virtually IMPOSSIBLE for anybody to attack you in https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-bet-playing-roulette.html without triggering the trap.
This trick works at all levels.
Avoid using freezing traps in a crowd.
The secret to effective trapping is manipulating the battle to a situation in which you can turn the tide with a trap.
One of my favorite tricks is the "Net-Trap," in which you net an enemy preferably a healer and then drop a freezing right on top of them.
They will have no choice but to succumb to 12 seconds of frustration.
This trick also works very well with entrapment procs, imp wing clip procs, and allied abilities such as hammer of justice.
Remember, teamwork wins https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-video-blackjack-strategy-card.html />Smart Aspect Usage Your aspects are a big part of hunter pvp whether you realize it or not.
You will probably have Hawk on the majority of the time, but cheetah and monkey can make a huge difference when the time comes.
After practicing on your hunter for a while, you may start to be able to use cheetah in short bursts to make a difference in kiting or making up lost ground.
Remember to cancel your cheetah by hitting the hotkey that activates it - this way you won't waste a global cooldown by simply changing this web page instead.
If you have a chance between global cooldowns in a frantic melee situation I know, it's really hard the majority of the time when joustingaspect of the monkey can really up your damage mitigation in melee.
You can really, really screw over warriors by dodging hamstrings or rogues by dodging crippling procs.
Now that hunter pets scale based on the hunter's stats, they are more than just a minor annoyance.
Make sure to keep them on casters for interrupts and make sure they ARENT attacking CCed targets or targets that are being called out to be CCed.
If you see a twink trying to sneak off to bandage, put your pet on him!
That boar will charge right up to him and piss the out of him, buying valuable time for a serpent sting.
Remember that your pets are also very valuable for keeping certain classes in combat, like warriors and rogues.
Which brings me to: 6.
Stings Put serpent stings on rogues whenever you can, because they can't vanish out of a dot.
Make sure to re-apply them when they are about to run out.
But always be careful to never serpent sting targets that are going to be CC'ed.
If a CC is coming and the sting is already on, mm best in slot panic - put scorpid sting on the target instead.
Serpent sting only ticks every 3 seconds so it is VERY possible that you will switch them in time and the target will remain CC'ed.
Speaking of scorpid sting, it really owns against melee classes and hunters, so if you have a chance make an effort to apply it whenever you can.
Be tricky with your bandages If you're a real twink, you've got 225 first aid and you're well stocked in heavy runecloth bandages.
Hunters have so, so many tools to get free of enemies for a quick bandage, or even a full one.
Freezing trap + bandage of course, and any entrapment or imp wing clip proc can result in 1000 free hp before the enemy gets back to you again.
Remember - when you get a proc like this and want to bandage, make sure you give your melee opponents a taste of their own medicine and deadzone them so they cannot use a ranged weapon to interrupt your bandage.
Of course, this example wont work against casters.
A lot of the time, you'll simply be able to snare enemies and cheetah away behind a pillar to bandage.
Conserve your mana If you're in an intense or close arena battle, make sure to manage your mana properly.
Stay outside the 5 second rule whenever possible if your mana situation is not looking good.
Remember to not waste mana on multishot unless you really can do damage to 3 targets or you're trying to burst somebody down.
Arcane shot is sufficient when you're DPSing on mail plate or twinks with the big quest armor shields.
Quest Information All experience mentioned is quest xp only.
Experience gained from killing mobs in the process is not included!

Greetings to both my fellow underlings… er, hunters and anyone else visiting this thread, welcome to the Hunter Tactics and Strategies corner of our forums!
There go here hunters among us, who are new to Vanilla and may be unaware of the fact that gameplay mechanics have undergone many substantial changes, as the game developed to whichever expansion you might have played in the past.
And so I've decided to begin with explaining the basics — you can read here about the proper build, spell rotation, you'll be able to find here a list of pre-raid BiS, as well as a list of regular enchants and how to get them and required raid consumables and much more.
I went through many hunter Vanilla guides while writing this, but I didn't get the impression that the majority of them is correct at all.
You can https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-casino-in-midwest.html the list of the sources below.
This fact is also reflected in how hunters benefit from individual stats and how the stats convert — which will differ alot from both melee physical damage dealers and spell casters.
Attack power is the stat that increases dps the most — both, white attacks and most special abilities scales with it so it basically translates into raw dps.
Whereas some of our abilities scale with spell power e.
The additional critical strike rating from agility will increase your dps more than the attack power and the profit is getting bigger, the more agility versus attack power we compare.
Here is also worth mentioning that agility, unlike attack power, is influenced by buffs that increase stats by %, for instance.
To determine click here much attack power corresponds to 1% crit, check this — the table on the left shows by how much every additional 1% crit increases your dps; the table on the right shows attack power conversion to % increase in dps — you can visit web page the calculation by changing the value of your current average dps in the yellow highlighted cell.
These stats learn more here very important to hunters and both of them are weighted down by reaching the cap at some point.
For a more detailed explanation, read the following paragraphs.
Since missing an attack results in the greatest dps loss, reaching the hit cap should be priority no.
There are several ways of increasing your hit chance — mainly through gear, then enchants ZG enchants —see Enchants sectiona scopesee Enchants section and last but not least, your talents Surefooted, see PVE Builds section.
But what exactly is the hit chance and what specific amount is needed?
In addition, the effect is not linear and there are actually two different formulas built in the Elysium open source code see ; line 3077-3130 : line 3083: Base miss chance is set to 5%.
Considering troll or dwarf racial bonus, that is additional +5 weapon skill to bows gunsbase miss chance against lvl 60 mob remains unchanged, i.
For a better overview of the miss chance against lvl 63 mob bossi.
In general, physical critical strike refers to 100% bonus damage twice your normal damage that occurs as a result of an attack.
Beyond that point, you should focus on stacking mainly attack power.
Crit rate is not based on hits only.
In other words, if you have a 5% crit rate, that 5% chance includes misses.
So if I have a 5% base crit rate and then use an item or talent that increases that crit rate let's use Improved Backstab talent for example - +30% critmy new crit with backstab is 35%.
Regarding how defense decreases the rate of critical strikes, each point of defense that a target has over the attacker, the attacker loses 0.
So, for example, if a level 60 Rogue is attacking a level https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-william-hill-slots-rtp.html Warrior who has 25 defense, the rogue's crit rate will be decreased by 1%.
If you feel like you are able manage just fine, feel free to go for the alternative talents mentioned above.
You lose a lot of dps on misses, moreover you don't wanna miss utility spells e.
And be glad you don't have to bother with glancing blows like the melees have to :D.
Zul'Gurub Important note: Any hunter, participating in ZG raids: I don't want you to use the Entrapment talent Gives your Immolation Trap, Frost Trap, and Explosive Trap a 25% chance to entrap the target, preventing them from moving for 5 sec.
The reason is following: we are supposed to use Frost Trap to slow down + kite around the Withered Mistresses, they must not be prevented from moving, otherwise they which would in fact mean you wipe our melee folks and then you answer to me.
Non-hunters reading this haha, you have no life if you read this pls just don't use immobilizing stuff on those thrash mobs mages don't use Frost Nova on those packs etc.
Then I'd recommend taming ZG Serpent over Bloodaxe Worg because in that case you'll want your pet to actually do dmg and Serpent does definitely more dps than Bloodaxe.
I prefer to keep my pet on passive during raid times because otherwise he dies so very often from aoe and ends up not doing any dps anyway.
Note: If you https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-slots-games-iphone.html for this build be sure to max up fire resistance on your pet to keep him alive.
There are some other viable builds that are supposed to have good dps output as well, e.
Also it should be noted that Hunter's Mark has by default the lowest accepted raid debuff priority 16th debuff — you can't add more debuffs on any target, this should be clearand as such gets substituted with other more usable debuffs on some encounters, if that's the case, don't use it.
Spell Books: In Vanilla, not all the spells can be learned from trainer, but some skills or maximum rank of some skills have to be learned from spell books.
This includes Tranquilizing Shot and with the 1.
Unfortunately Serpent Sting doesn't make it to the list of 16 default raid debuffs, which means you won't get to use it in your normal rotation.
At least you'll enjoy it all the more when you can use it at Ony's flying phase and a couple of more encounters, but by default, don't use it.
It shares cooldown with Aimed Shot and doesn't scale with attack power, which makes it mostly unusable.
I'm going to make a little detour here to explain ranged weapon attack speed.
It should be apparent that you want your ranged weapon to be as slow as possible.
The idea behind this is following: consider the 3 second cast time of the Aimed Shot, obviously, the faster the ranged weapon you use, the more Auto Shots are being clipped the majority of ranged weapons will clip one Auto Shot, some extremely fast bows can even clip two.
So, using simple mathematics, the ideal attack speed of a ranged weapon would be 3.
To maximize your dps you should watch your Auto Shots and start casting Aimed Shot right after your Auto Shot launches so that you synchronize Auto Shot — Aimed Shot rotation and avoid any delays, that would cause longer breaks of Auto Shooting than needed.
The Aimed Shot is helping you in syncing the Auto Shots, but it's your job to time the Aimed Shot itself.
It might take you some time to perfect the timing, but at the mm best in slot you'll be able to intuitively determine when to start casting Aimed Shot.
The best way to learn the timing for casting Aimed Shot is to listen to the sound of the Auto Shot arrow being fired and start casting Aimed Shot right at that time.
The Auto Shot animation takes some time to perform so just watching your character might result in incorrect Aimed Shot cast timing.
Another dpsing ability you want to use is Multi-Shot ofc always watch for polymorph, sleep.
So, if you put it all together, the ideal cycle with 3.
A little problem is with Multi-Shot which cooldown takes 10 seconds.
That means that in the second cycle you'll cast Multi-Shot at 4 s instead of 3 s and so on.
After few cycles you'll get to the point where Aimed Shot and Multi-Shot cooldowns ends simultaneously.
At this point you should always prefer Aimed Shot over Multi-Shot.
It should be kept in mind that the effect of this ability strengthens the more the more hunters are present in the raid group.
Because missing Tranq Shot in situations like this can lead to wipe, I recommend to use Tranq Shot announcer addon to keep a better watch over your misses.
Traps An inseparable part of hunters are their Traps.
For Bloodaxe Worg users: Furious Howl FH buff management Just to be clear, FH gives an extra flat 45 to 57 damage to next physical attack of your party members — that means that it doesn't matter if you buff you Aimed Shots or Auto Shots.
If you're using a Bloodaxe Worg be sure to keep FH buff up all the time.
There is one annoyance with FH you should be aware of: if you receive the buff while an arrow is already in the flight, the buff won't affect the shot at all and will disappear from the hunter without any effect the shot counts as your next attack but does not get buffed by FH, i.
So, in the mentioned case you'd just waste your pet's FH cooldown.
Considering this, you shouldn't use FH during shot casting but you should instead wait for for the moment when Aimed Shot and Multi-Shot are both on cooldown and just buff your Auto Shots but don't forget to wait until the previous shot hits the target.
Sitting and drinking will drop your dps the most.
Here's a list of pre-raid hunter BiS items.
You should always keep in mind that it's important to adjust the gear composition to your needs, generally speaking, with pre-raid BiS you should always focus on reaching the hit cap.
In order to be able to obtain this quest, you must complete the quest first starts at in Camp Mojache.
Once you've got yourandyou just simply turn in those for your enchant at.
This NPC is located in ZG, at the top of one of the pyramids, directly behind The Venom Pit.
Not only does it greatly increase your dps, but particular encounters require specific consumables to be popped in order to increase your survivability during the fight.
Note that the said amount is only rough estimate and is intended to last for one raid night.
Also note that this list corresponds to the current game version on Anathema serveri.
You can find the link for even more detailed list — some alternative options are mentioned there together with the list of materials needed for individual buffs and few other notes.
The capability to resurrect other raid members or rather res the resserin such situation, gives your raiding team a great advantage.
It shows that a clear choice for your Primary profession should be Engineering and through it the potential to use or trinkets.
Note that in order to make this macro work, your Cables have to be in the first slot of your backpack.
Choosing the second Primary profession leaves basically two options — Herbalism or Leatherworking.
Prefering Herbalism as your second Primary profession will help you alot in this.
And with Herbalism, the possibility to pick on your way makes your runs even more profitable.
The other possible option here is Leatherworking for a simple reason — to be able to craft your own pre-raid BiS, i.
Therefore when choosing your Leatherworking specialization, go for Tribal or Dragonscale.
Also note that with Tribal you are consider, best blackjack comps vegas commit to craftwhich is a quite high in demand cloak for healers, so you can also earn some extra gold in this way.
Skilling up the other two, i.
Fishing and Cooking is up to you, but being able to fish and cook mm best in slot own stuff saves you alot of gold.
You are brilliant, Dhralla!
Thank you for compiling all this useful information.
Amazing guide, keep it up!
That's just pure crap.
From my experience 5-6% hit on thrash and 9% on bosses is optimal.
I don't know if the servers are set badly, but I miss like max 10 slot best i in whole MC raid with 5% hit.
I have tried stacking fire res and it's garbage, it just doesn't work well.
Therefore you should go for max armor, then stamina.
For talents get Thick Hide and Imp.
That way even if your pet dies in fight, you can have him ready for next thrash pack in a few seconds without huge mana loss.
I have no idea.
Bloodseeker is literally better in every aspect.
It's easier to get, it has same speed, but better both low end and top end dmg and also has more agility.
You will always get only +25 link />Elixirs shouldn't stack, but Scroll and Elixir should afaik.
Therefore a possible bug here.
I don't know what you are doing there, but I am able to farm Mara runs 3 bosses on reset instance cooldown and I have to be VERY lucky with drops to get even 50g per hour.
I have picked up Herbalism recently and didn't try with it yet, but unless you get 8+ stacks of Ghost Mushrooms per hour, then it's obvious misinformation.
Anyways really good job, I agree with 99% of this guide.
These are just my two cents.
Agility is worth more then your statement.
About the rotation, i heard many things about "full" and "clipped" cycles.
You don't speak about that?
Nice guide btw Missing 2 better types of ammunition.
Missing Fiendish Machete in 1H weapons.
Missing Juju Strength for the pet.
And grats on Elysium sharing it on their Twitter :p About the rotation, i heard many things about "full" and "clipped" cycles.
You don't speak about that?
Nice guide btw That basically depends on how fast your weapon is.
Usually when your weapon is faster than 2,8 you will always want to clip your shots.
If you are going to best casino buffet in council bluffs and paste my Reddit post on hit, you could at least link to it in the Sources and Credit section.
You put a lot of work into this and it looks good.
I put a lot of work into gathering that info too.
But during the boss fight and again, the boss fight should be taken into account the most the situation is usually different, and that most of the aoe damage is magical which for MC and BWL means fire, for AQ nature.
I definitely agree that in many situations Arcane Shot is a useful ability, but I think we all agree not to use in terms of dps.
Nitsujcm The calculations result mostly from the code, and the information stated has also been verified according to the Vanilla WoW Wiki, that is actually listed in the sources.
All valid points from your side.
I still think winning 1 AV will be faster than getting the Carapace xbow though.
Also you shouldn't need the extra stamina most of the time, but it can be valuable in some encounters.
Great guide and compilattion in general, especially for less experienced hunters, thanks for making it.
There are several points on which i disagree in the guide itself and in the comments below.
I will quickly adress some of those.
Sending pets to be cleaved is just not a right approach i think - keep it with you on Destroyers in MC for example.
And on cleaving mobs send it from their back.
In that conditions a troll hunter has 1720 RAP and 27.
Long story short - approx.
Let's make a qualitative analyses: It is obvious now that RAP doesn't affect all of hunter's damage output as you state - on the contrary, it affects only about half of the damage output.
This rises from your wapon having it's white damage, you projectiles as well and having raw +damage on both your dps shots - 600 on aimed and 150 on multi.
At the same time crit does affect all of hunter's damage.
What is also apparent from the formulas 1 https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-way-to-make-money-on-roulette.html 2 is that relative effectivness of RAP and Crit increase depend on the current ammount of both these stats you have.
For example, lets imagine that you have 1720 RAP and, i don't know, 3000 RAP and same 27.
In the case with imaginary 3000 RAP an increase in 46 RAP will bring about a 1% damage increase, while an increase in crit chance of 0.
As you can, with increasin your total RAP the value of RAP compared to crit chance rapidly diminishes.
What follows from that is that there are no "crit caps" or anything like that.
Raiding Consumable list: Booze: +10 or 15.
Fish: 25 STA, 6 or 8 mana regen.
Does not stack with Blasted Lands potions.
Does not stack with other AGI elixirs or any AGI scroll.
Health potion: Major Rejuv or bandages.
Major HP is generally not recommended as it shares a CD with protections while doing less Oils: +8.
If it's not enough, then just dual wield 2 charges.
Mana potion: 900-1,500, stackable up to 5.
I don't mean superior.
I mean combat from PVP vendor.
Mana rune: Another 900-1,500.
Does not share CD with other potions, but shares with Healthstones.
Food: Alterac Manna Biscuit.
Not much reason to buy anything else.
Things not to use: Jujus are a waste on a Hunter unless you have low fire resist.
Major manas are also stupid, and even superiors are a waste vs combat pots or mana oils.
If you want to save more money, you could also skimp out on booze, as another 10 or 15 STA won't change much.
For ammo AV is a waste vs best hands of texas holdem />Those are china bullets for their 5 hour long field of strife turtles.
Blasted Lands potions have no purpose unless you can't get zanza.
Scrolls have no purpose unless you don't want to pay for a AGI potion.
Flasks are probably the biggest waste of gold, and should be the last thing you ever consider using.
There's no flask for AGI, crit, or even AP, and you can already get enough HP or mana from everything else.
How come aren't in the Pre-BiS list?
Because they are crap.
If you dont need hit, get Spaulders of the Unseen or Wyrmtongue Shoulders instead.

Why don't you like Grilled Squid?
Best hunter food out there 10agi.
Just plan ahead and fish lots of them for summer-time.
Also, i don't agree about L buff Ground Scorpok Assay.
I usually buff up in DM+Felwood, then HS to Kargath, fly best food shreveport louisiana Stonard, take 1 Scorpok, pop it, take another one and move to ZG island where i log out till the raid time.
That way i have Scorpok up for 6 or 7 of BWL bosses if you clear fast you could have it for all 8.
Also, i don't agree about mana potions i play on Darrow, so can't really tell the difference 2 oils will make.
But i prefer to always stay on the best new online casinos uk side and never go OOM, so i use Major Pots and Runes when needed requires you to predict the fight duration and the ammoount of mana you would need.
If i just need a bit of mana, i use Superiors or Combat pots, yeah.
Jujus are great imo.
When feeling rich i use AP jujus on pet as well.
FR jujus are nice for some bosses.
I also use Agi scrolls 3 or 4 on pet, those give him a bit of crit also only when im feeling rich lol.
I never see them when I fish.
I get a full stack of 15 STA booze and still no squids.
Probably because it's a winter fish and we're in the middle of summer.
There's almost no fights where you don't take damage.
It's also twice the duration, and persists through any deaths.
Literally no contest here, and you go to the island to buff anyway, as opposed to having to make pointless laps to Blasted Lands to farm beasts.
I listed the most money efficient options.
It's also why I list the 8 oil instead of the 12.
The 12 costs so much more that it's not worth it.
I didn't list the best possible thing you could use.

It makes more sense to sell them to the melee.
But again, use them if you want.
So the code for hit cap has now changed: For those who want to work out what the hit % required is for each weapon skill now, I created this little JavaScript snippet: 1 GL getting squids.

Yeah, had to stuck up on squid before april.
They are gonna be back in october or november.
Well, i https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-denomination-slots-to-play.html agree that for progression zanza is def better than BL buffs.
Given the Mortal Shots bonus, isn't it always better to go for crit rather than hit?
You gain more from a crit +130% than you lose from a miss -100%.
I don't see why it is particularly necessary to max out hit.
For example, if I have a 100% hit chance and 15% crit chance, I would on average do 119.
If I traded 5% hit for https://clearadultskin.com/best/best-odds-in-casino-reddit.html crit 95% hit chance and 20% crit chanceI would expect to do 121% of normal damage 0.

Dancingbear: where should I be looking for the epic drops?
Be surprised when they drop.
There are many guides out there to help up with this question, but if you want a quick answer to all your bis questions, check out Every single piece of gear you can equip with AGI on it is Hunter gear priority.
You can take their leather so long as it makes you better.
Even when you can wear mail.
Hate to be that guy but in this case its easier if I tell you to google hunter pre raid bis list.

I thought of linking it because it also shows every Mm best in slot in Slot for all phases.

That being said, MM is definitely the top vanilla mm best in slot, but once you get enough gear, survival can be really satisfying in pvp.
Allowing a rogue to close the kiting gap only to find out theyre about go get walloped is a wonderful experience.
