Pretty basic BJ question.
I know that if there is no RSA, you get 1 and only 1 card after splitting blackjack double down and split />If a table has RSA can you blackjack double down and split down afterwards or hit at any point?
Typically you get 1 card only to split aces in standard BJ making it a 2 card hand.
If you find a game that allows you to play after that the rule is very beneficial.
No rsa normally means you can split again if you get another ace but you can't hit or double.
This should not be in the disadvantage forum.
I was missing a comma.
RSA means you can resplit aces ,so if you split ace ace and blackjack double down and split another ace you can split it again.
But if you get any other card the hand is over you can't hit again or double down.
I blackjack double down and split that if there is no RSA, you get 1 and only 1 card after splitting aces.
If a table has RSA can you double down afterwards or hit at any point?
As far as i know RSA means your allowed to split up to 4 times Vs the traditional 1 time split 2 hands No Splitting Aces means you cant split at all and NRSA means no Multiple Splits.
This rule is less common but more common than most people think.
In shoe games, this rule is quite valuable for card counters and is often seen with late surrender games in Las Vegas.
A few allow additional draws.
Either from a defensive standpoint getting a lousy hit and double for table min hoping to get a good card or from an offensive standpoint where it would be a double if it had occurred on your first two cards.
And unless im mistakeh here, your probably more than likely to be restricted to the traditional way of only splitting aces once if Multiple Draw or Double after split is allowed.
As far as doubling after split Aces is concerned, im not exactly sure if a card has to be taken first most likely or you can take both hands as Hard Eleven 11 which of course would be better than doubling as a soft-hand.
NO Jake, ordinarily you cannot take any action on the Split Aces and some places will not permit a further split to four 4 hands.
Note: You can do so in Spanish21 and in some other BJ variants.
ZMF there are casinos that allow rules strategy blackjack basic to take a hit on your split aces.
The only thing you must do is make another bet.
Also allows you to double down.
So it all depends where you play at.
This is regular BJ.
I am hunching that LESS than 1% of casinos will permit a player to take ANY action on a "split ace" If you are not mentioning one or more casinos by name your comment is of profoundly non-informative.
That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved.

Is it generally the case that you can double down on any total?
Are you allowed to double down after splitting?
I'm sure there are different versions played across the city but I wondered what I will most commonly find.
Does this low-limit have a bearing on the double down rules?
It changes as you change casino's.
Probably best to find one where you are happy with the rules and stick to it.
Edited: 10:37 am, December 19, 2010 It can vary between casinos or between tables in the same casino depending on the game.
A lot of single deck games limit what you can double down on, less so with multi deck games.
Here's a link that may help.
Higher minimum tables will generally offer more favorable rules for the player.
Edited: 10:40 am, December 19, 2010 I'm confused, blagger.
You say blackjack detroit dollar 5 tables games offer more favourable rules, which I understand.
But before you said, 'A lot of single deck games limit what you can double down on, less so with multi deck games.
Surely https://clearadultskin.com/blackjack/saratoga-springs-casino-blackjack.html is more favourable for the player to immersive blackjack the freedom to double down on whatever total they choose?
The website you send me to was great in that it said 'In doubling restrictions only happen in 6:5 tables', which I'd be avoiding anyway.
Edited: 10:44 am, December 19, 2010 And also that it is usual in for a player to be allowed to double down after a split.
Whilst it seems this is the case, as blackjack double down and split as the doubling down with any total, and that answers my question, that it can vary a lot between properties and tables as you have both saidso I will need to learn what to do with all options.
I've got some studying ahead.!
The most common arrangement blackjack double down and splitdisregarding single and double deck shoes is as follows: Doubling allowed on any two first cards Blackjack double down and split allowed after splitting Aces split receive one card each no second card, no doubling, no re-splitting Play single or double deck games, and you're likely to find all sorts of variations that limit your odds.
Don't ever be afraid to ask the table rules before you play.
It amazes me how many people aren't comfortable doing this.
There is no way I'm going to put my money out there if I don't know exactly what's going on.
LDN, in that post I said that higher minimum tables generally offer more favorable rules than lower ones.
I didn't diffferentiate between the number of decks involved.
My reference to single deck software top blackjack just referring to doubling down restricitons.
But within each version the more you're happy to bet will generally mean the house edge becomes lower as rules edge in your favor.
Edited: 11:03 am, December 19, 2010 So, if I split aces and draw a 10 do I have a natural which will pay off at 3:2 and beat anything but a dealer blackjack, or just a score of blackjack double down and split paying 1:1 and being beaten by a dealer blackjack?
A face card on a split ace totals 21.
It's not a natural.
Here's a site you should check out if you've not already done so.
Most of what you online site to know about blackjack is there.
If that's the case then why other than casinos are allowed to set whatever rules they like and are most likely to set ones favourable to them are you only allowed to take one card on split aces?

Blackjack is the most popular table game played in casinos around the world.
I love it because there are options and decisions to make every hand.
When you bring your best game to the table, you can expect to do well every night.
Aside from when you are dealt a big two-card hand like blackjack 21 or a hard 17 through 20, you may want to tempt fate by hitting your hand.
Or you can stand.
But you can also double down or split your pairs in many cases.
A double-down takes place when a player options to double their original wager in exchange for hitting their hand with a single card.
click at this page single card.
It would be cool to hit that 11 you now have, but again, you traded that option.
Overall, players can get themselves into trouble doubling down at the wrong time.
For now, the only pair we are interested in is a pair of fives.
Instead, take a hit or double down with your total of 10.
Why a Double-Down Is a Good Thing Double-down hands are important for blackjack double down and split the game of blackjack.
You are giving away money if you never double down.
Each casino has a set of rules for double-downs.
In northern Nevada Reno and Lake Tahoeplayers are restricted to doubling down on a two-card total of 9, 10, and 11.
Some clubs only allow a double-down on 10 or 11.
A soft hand is when you hold an ace that can be played as either a 1 or an 11 without going over 21.
Typical soft doubles are like ace-six which can be seven or seventeen and ace-seven which can be eight or eighteen.
The either-or part trips players up from time to time.
Then, double only when the dealer is likely to bust.
When the dealer has a 4-5-6 up-card, they will bust more than 40% of the time.
When they show an ace, they will only bust about 12% of click to see more time.
With those figures in mind, here is the best blackjack double down and split advice for when to take a double-down at blackjack.
When you have a hard hand of 10, double link against a dealer up-card of 2 through 9.
You can hit if the dealer has blackjack double down and split 10 or ace showing.
When you have a hard hand of 11, double down against a dealer up-card of 2 through 10.
Just hit against an ace showing.
Soft hands, those pesky ace ones, are tougher.
Use the following rules to double down if your online or land-based casino allows soft doubling.
Just hit against any other cards.
Hit against anything else.
If you hold an ace-6, your best option is to double against a 3, 4, 5, or 6 and hit against other up-cards.
And finally, if you hold an ace-7, double when the up-card showing is a 3, blackjack double down and split, 5, or 6, and stand against a 2, 7, or 8.
Go ahead and hit against a 9, 10, or ace.
When you decide to double down, you must match at least part of your original wager before taking a card.
If you decide to split a pair, you will have to match your original wager in full.
When should you split pairs?
When to Split Blackjack double down and split The good news is that nearly every blackjack double down and split lets you split pairs.
The conventional wisdom is that you should always split aces and eights.
And there are reasons for that.
Some clubs allow you to re-split aces, so if you draw another ace, you get to make a third and even a fourth bet and draw a new card to each one.
But now you do.
Unless you have the last of your money wagered, taking a double-down or split is always a better use of your bankroll than saving some chips to make a bet on the next hand.
The odds prove this, and you are losing money by not taking advantage of the options the casino offers you in blackjack.
